Chapter 271: Azure Phoenix Civilization!
Chapter 271: Azure Phoenix Civilization!
"I’m looking for Freya of the Blue Flame Civilization."
Noah glanced at the nearby guards and spoke indifferently. Thanks to the mental communication technique, he no longer had to worry about language barriers.
"Sir, Please wait a moment."
The guard’s expression eased slightly, but they did not lower their vigilance.
Noah didn’t have to wait long. Freya soon flew over with a tall and beautiful woman.
The moment she saw Noah, Freya’s face lit up with excitement.
The tall and beautiful woman also looked at Noah in surprise.
Being targeted by the Disaster Will meant facing endless waves of sieges. As soon as one wave was eliminated, another would arrive immediately. Since they were in the Outer Sea, reinforcement could not reach them in time. They had originally believed that this Sixth Order expert, who had saved Freya and the others, would perish here. Unexpectedly, he appeared completely unharmed.
Although curious, the beautiful woman did not ask any questions. Everyone had their own secrets and hidden methods, and she had no intention of offending a Sixth Order expert capable of escaping while under the Disaster Will’s watch.
"And this is...?" Noah asked, turning his gaze toward the beautiful woman after exchanging a few words with Freya.
"Elder Sylvia of our Demon Subduing Alliance," Freya quickly introduced.
The woman stepped forward and nodded.
"Sylvia Moon of the Azure Phoenix Civilization, a Sixth Order Awakener."
Azure Phoenix Civilization?
Undoubtedly, it was a Second Level Civilization.
Noah couldn’t see the ranking of Second Level Civilization on the Civilization Pillar, and there were no representatives of the Azure Phoenix Civilization on the Sky Piercing Tower, so he had no way of judging its strength.
The Azure Phoenix Civilization was also a humanoid race. Sylvia’s appearance was very similar to that of a human, standing nearly two meters tall. However, two long Azure Green feathers extended from either side of her head, giving her an elegant and noble aura.
"Aryan, also a Sixth Order Awakener."
Noah introduced himself as well.
To outsiders, he appeared to be a genuine Sixth Order expert.
Both his Rank Suppression and Life Force Field were at the Sixth Order, and his actual combat strength far surpassed that of an ordinary Sixth Order Awakener. If he claimed to be the only Fifth Order, no one would believe him.
More importantly, only Second Level Civilization were capable of producing Sixth Order Awakeners.
Even if someone saw through his disguise, it would be impossible for them to connect him to Noah of the Blue Star Civilization.
Not mentioning his civilization was perfectly normal.
There were far fewer Second level Civilization than First level ones, making it easy to expose himself by pretending to belong to a specific civilization. Rather than risk making a mistake, it was safer to say nothing at all.
"It seems this Aryan doesn’t fully trust our Demon Subduing Alliance."
A thoughtful gleam flashed through Sylvia’s eyes as she believed she had understood Noah’s reasoning.
Such caution was only natural for someone who had just arrived. She didn’t dwell on it.
"Aryan, may I ask what brings you to our Demon Subduing Alliance?" Sylvia asked.
"The civilization I belong to has long been plagued by Demonized Monsters. We only managed to resolve a Disaster originating from a Remnant World after great difficulty. However, we are not confident about surviving the next, even stronger Disaster. Therefore, I voluntarily entered the Remnant World to search for a permanent solution."
Noah explained his purpose.
"So, it’s a newly promoted Second-Level Civilization."
Sylvia naturally assumed that the Disaster Noah mentioned was merely a Human-Level Calamity.
A civilization that had recently advanced to the Second Level yet already possessed a Sixth-Order Awakener, one who was even willing to venture into the Remnant World voluntarily.
Sylvia’s eyes brightened, and her opinion of Noah rose considerably.
"Aryan, the purpose of our Demon Subduing Alliance is unity and mutual assistance. Together, we stand against the Remnant World. To be frank, the power of the Remnant World far exceeds what either you or I can imagine. A handful of civilizations and experts cannot hope to challenge it alone. Only by joining forces can we establish a foothold within the Remnant World, gradually weaken its influence, and ultimately destroy it completely."
Sylvia spoke in a solemn tone.
"I naturally understand the importance of unity and cooperation."
Noah nodded.
"Besides the Demon Subduing Alliance, are there any other organizations like yours on the Central Continent?"
Hearing this, Sylvia was momentarily surprised, but she still answered honestly.
"Of course there are. Due to geographical constraints, the other forces are located far from us, and we can only maintain limited contact with them. Some of those organizations are even stronger than our Demon Subduing Alliance. If you wish to join one of those powerful forces, Aryan, the Demon Subduing Alliance would be willing to provide a letter of introduction."
Although Noah’s inquiry about other organizations left Sylvia slightly disappointed, she understood the importance of mutual cooperation and naturally had no intention of making things difficult for him.
After hearing her words, Noah’s impression of the Demon Subduing Alliance improved somewhat.
"I’ll pass on the letter of introduction."
Noah shook his head.
He had never intended to join any organization in the first place.
"The civilization I belong to has yet to establish a stable passage to the Remnant World. As for me, entering alone, it wouldn’t be appropriate to join any force. However, if I encounter Demonized Monsters threatening others, I won’t stand by and do nothing."
Sylvia nodded in understanding.
Joining an alliance came with responsibilities and obligations. Since Noah had entered the Remnant World alone and had no intention of remaining here permanently, it was only natural that he would be unwilling to shoulder such commitments.
Just as Sylvia was about to continue the conversation, a piercing alarm suddenly echoed through the air.
"Woooooshhh!"
"Demonized Monsters are attacking!"
Freya’s expression changed immediately.
"Aryan, my apologies. We must head to the front lines at once."
Sylvia spoke apologetically.
"Count me in."
Noah smiled.
